How to Skype from iPad
Skyping from an iPad is Easy, and the sound quality much better than from my laptop. How do you get it: Log into iTunes, go to the App store, search for skype, download.
At present it’s voice only, but excellent quality. It was very useful to be able to make the skype call on the iPad while I worked on the laptop.

Hi Heidi,
Does this mean you now have your own shiny new iPad?
I’ll have to Skype you from my TEGA Tablet and compare notes. You will be able to see me though as the TEGA has a camera. (cheeky monkey aren’t I)

You are all just too clever for words. Written words on iPads, Skype on iPads while writing on your laptops and if that’s not enough, you can see each other on Tony’s TEGA Tablet.
I just want to sit near you, see your face and squeeze your cheeks. If I can’t do that, all of the above will have to do.

Too true, I don’t think a cheek pinching app is available just yet.
I guess as our friends and families spread around the globe it is of some comfort that we have such rich communication options available. It’s so precious to see my 1 year old and his Grandmother interacting and smiling at each other on Skype with 420km between them.
