How to Embed a Tweet into your Blog

Some blogs have great shots of tweets and here’s a new way of doing it.

Blackbird Pie have a way of producing HTML code for you to add to your blog.

To get the actual tweet url you want to embed, go to http://twitter.com, select the tweet by clicking on the time the tweet was sent. This is what the tweet looks like when I paste in the code using Blackbird

Go to this link at publitweet and drag the Blackbird bookmarklet to your bookmarks toolbar – that’s it! it’s available to use.

There is also a Google Chrome exension which is very easy to use and the tweet ends up looking like this:

The bookmarklet wins for me, although none is perfect, I suspect these sort of bugs will be ironed out quite quickly or I may just stay with screenshots for the time being.
